"Michael, wake up! We're here! We're in Egypt. And look, we're flying over the Pyramids!"

In Michael's dream he had just found the pirate's treasure map when he heard someone call his name. Drat! what was Suzie doing in this dream?!

He woke up and looked at Suzie sleepily. Then he leaned over to the window and looked down at the Pyramids gleaming in the sun. He heard Dad say "Wow" as he leaned over too.

"Double Wow! They're huge," said Michael. "I bet there was a lot of treasure buried with those guys. When we get to Abydos I'll start my own treasure hunting."
"Treasure? Don't you want to see Mom first?!", said Suzie.

"Sure, but Mom will be busy digging up that old city and Dad will be busy too, I'll have plenty of time to look for treasure."

"Well, I'm going to help Mom dig, and maybe poke around in that temple I saw last year. This will be great, all of us together here in Egypt."

"Yep", said Dad. "This will be a great family trip. Egypt has a lot to see and the people are great. You'll like Abydos, Michael, even without a treasure."

Better with a treasure, Michael thought.
