Installation
The Figures presented here
may be somewhat different on your PC, depending on your version
of Windows.
1. Place all of the batch
files (extension ".bat") in the same directory. In my case, I
made a directory, D:\CD_INDEX
2. Create a DOS shortcut
on your Desktop, using the following steps:

You will now have a new icon on your Desktop (Figure 7).
Right-click on this icon and select "Properties", then select
the "Program" tab.
The fields you need to enter, and the information you need
to type, are:

You may click the "Change Icon" button if you wish to select
a different icon, or just click OK to save your changes.
Now you are ready to
click the "CD Indexer" icon on your Windows Desktop and start
indexing your CD-ROM disc collection. When you click on the
shortcut, command.com runs and opens a DOS box on your Windows
desktop, then it runs the batch file info.bat. From there
you run the other batch files. Enjoy!
