The Egyptian theme is well done and the gameplay has to be learned, but there is a good tutorial. Empire of the Gods is a challenge and explands your brain a bit. Empire of the Gods Review - " If you are tired of the never-ending releases of Match 3 and Seek-and-Find games give Empire of the Gods a try. Empire of the Gods is a strategy game of resource trading. You have 4 resources and you must reach the specified number of resources required for each level in the number of turns specified. You have the basic cards, which will use up one resource for 2 of other and special cards that give out extra bonuses such as extra turns, additional resources and even additional cards! As you use cards to reach your objective, you gain fame which you can use either to upgrade your character to make the levels less difficult or use power-ups that can help you in tight situations.

At the beginning of Empire of the Gods, you choose your character and the name of your character. The downside to this part is that you are limited only to the Egyptian names available. Then comes a 7-page tutorial which you should really read to fully understand the concept of the game. The graphics for Empire of the Gods are actually quite impressive, and don't require a very powerful system to play and enjoy.

The music is themed just right to give you that "Egyptian" feeling while playing Empire of the Gods. Empire of the Gods Review - "Empire of the Gods has a really novel, new game idea. I completely disagree with any negative reviews of this one. Though, it did take all of about two minutes to read the tutorial, Empire of the Gods turned out to be something completely different from what I was expecting.

Empire of the Gods is something new and unique. I am a CCG/TCG player; but, you really don't need to be a card player to like this one. I lost the first round and tried again; and then, got the hang of it. By the third level Empire of the Gods was no longer just a boredom chaser; it was actually intriguing and somewhat hard; but, the toughness of mastering how to play a unique game is seriously half the fun.

I don't really care about music and all that in a game; but, it was nice enough. The graphics are very good; and, I like the Egyptian motif quite a lot; but, the gameplay is where this one is at; exceptional is all I can say, easy enough to get a player motivated in the begginning; and, tough enough to get a player to stay up for hours mastering the harder levels of Empire of the Gods.

Also, since a player can pick different players to play as; and, can upgrade the player in different manners, this one looks like it should have pretty good replay value. Overall, I am surprisingly pleased with this fun and unique new game. Keep up the good work!!!

Empire of the Gods Review - " I love Empire of the Gods. If you hate math, you might not like it, but I'd suggest giving it a shot anyway.

The instructions are at the very beginning of the game. There are 7 pages that explain what everything is. Basically, Empire of the Gods is a strategy game of trade-offs. I'll try to explain but it's hard to do so in text. :)

You have 4 sections - Life, Wealth, Power, and Faith. Beside each section, you have cards that match up with each other section. You trade off - 1 point in a section for two in another, depending on which card you click.

So.. for example:You need 6 faith, and you have 1 in each other section.
Beside each 'bubble' are the cards, each card has a number that tells how many of those cards are left.
Click the purple 'faith' card next to your Wealth section. You pay one wealth to give 2 to Faith.
Then click the 'faith' card in the Life section. You exchange one Life for 2 Faith.
Do the same in the Power section.
You now have 6 faith, and 0 Power, Wealth, and Life.

The special cards in Empire of the Gods give you extra benefits - but at a cost, so you have to be careful not to use them and run out of time before replenishing their cost. Each special card costs 5 (at the beginning at least), and hovering over them will tell you what they do. They can hurt or help, so use them wisely!

This isn't a great explanation of Empire of the Gods, but without pictures it's hard to explain. Read the instructions carefully, they do tell you what to do.

Empire of the Gods Review - "Empire of the Gods is not really that hard. The object in Empire of the Gods is to collect the amount u need for the special card, like in stage one the obelisk. Each card on the side shows a color on top. That color represents the color it's next to. The colored ball under it, with the number, shows u where the points go to. Say, a blue ball with number 4. If you're next to the purple, u will lose the amount of purple shown on that card, to add 4 points to the blue. Does that make sense? So basicly, in Empire of the Gods, u "fly" the points from one to the other in order to get the amount u need for the center card." - Dice Roller
