How to Use Views in The Global Egyptian Museum

Views presents movies of museums display rooms and selected items from those museums.

The top menu is a specialty menu.  It presents information organized in different ways.

Views  presents movies of museum display rooms and selected items.

It also provides access to all the glossary items with movies.

When you click on Views you will see a menu page showing all the museums. You can see two things from this page:
  • The Museum Display Room
  • The Glossary items with movies

First, I chose to look at the Dublin Museum.

I clicked on the picture and the next page was presented.

The Views | Dublin page gives you access to a panoramic view of the display room and rotating views of three selected items.

First I clicked on the Museum panorama.

The entire panoramic view of the museum is shown on the previous page.

This page allows you a closer view of the display room and allows you to look at whatever section you wish by moving the cursor backward and forward across the picture.

When you want to go back to the Views | Dublin page, use the Back button available at the bottom right corner of the screen rather than your browser Back arrow.  It is quicker.

Next, I clicked  Back  to the Views | Dublin page and clicked on the Lapis Statue.
The Lapis Statue can be turned and stopped at any position by moving your cursor on the image.

The Views Menu also allows you to access the Glossary items that include movies.

Click on Views Glossary.

An alphabetic list of all items will be presented.  As the list grow longer, the alphabet menu at the bottom will be useful.
Here is the Glossary item for Aswan.
