The Entrance to the Cairo Egyptian Museum

We visited the Cairo Egyptian Museum on four separate days, and still didn't see it all. We spent the first day viewing the Tutankhamun Exhibit.

There are thousands of beautiful objects in the Egyptian Museum. You can purchase a 300 page list of all the artifacts at the ticket booth, and more useful guides which cover the museum room by room can be bought at the gift shop to the right of the entrance.

There is a wonderful book that you can order that shows many of the exhibits:

The Tomb of Tutankhamun

The most famous exhibit at the Cairo Egyptian Museum is the Gold Room that holds the treasures from the Tomb of Tutankhamen. Here are some of King Tut's golden treasures.
